The Sharknado design is inspired by the aggregations of sharks in the Caribbean. It is also a design they created to honour work done towards shark research and documentation, by dedicated folks such as their ambassadors, Jillian Morris Brake and Duncan Brake of Sharks4Kids and OceanicAllstars.
